Dear visitor,

Welcome to my site! My name is Arlette Dambron and I am a wholesale exporter of French antiques for the US and foreign market. My shop and warehouse are in Strasbourg, France. It is the capital and principal city of the Alsace region of northeastern France, located close on the border with Germany.

Choosing to export to the United States was a natural move for me. Thirty years ago, after graduating from Law School, I spent a little more than a year as a French Language Assistant at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. Since then, I've felt a strong link with the US, it's people and the American culture. Strasbourg France antiques

With years, I have also experienced shipping containers to South Afrika and South Korea. I have enjoyed doing business with Great Britain and Australia

My long experience in the US market has given me the opportunity to build strong confident business relationships with my major clients. Throughout the years, I have provided accurate, detailed information about the antiques I find. As soon as I see a a good piece, whether found by a picker, inside a provincial antique shop or at a brocanteur's, the piece is photographed, and complete information is sent by e-mail to my foreign clients.

Buying through pictures requires a tremendous amount of confidence from the Buyers... and a heavy responsibility for the Seller. I am aware of this. To maintain my buyer's confidence in me, I provide honest descriptions of each piece: age, style, kind of wood, measurements, and most of all, the exact condition of the piece. The detailed pictures emphasize the piece's condition: grafts, worms holes, restoration done or needed.

Finding pieces for my clients is just one side of my job: a full service of storage, serious wrapping, careful loading and managing French shipping regulations, is provided for each client.  If the client asks, I also bring the piece to the cabinetmaker for the minor repairs, have keys made, etc... This way, when the container reaches you, every piece is immediately ready to be displayed!

For over 15 years, I have been shipping 20', 40' and 45' containers to New England, the South and the Midwest. My clients have honored me with their confidence, by choosing me as their Buyer's Eyes in France. Through daily emails I gain knowledge of their specific market needs while building true friendships. I would honor such a business relationship with you!
